I thought i would post something for you to checkout. We have a company that promotes BPA Free Bottles much like what is on your store. We also have put together a fundrasing model that we have started to introduce in 2 school boards in our area.

As much as this sounds like a sales pitch… “mabe it is alittle” We realy want people to stop the plastic polution of water bottles and make a difference in what goes to landfill every day, as well as poluting their children’s bodies unknowingly.

We don’t get rid of all of it. Plastic does have a place IMO. I would prefer not to eat out of it or store food in it but plastic in hospitals and such are needed for instance. We could greatly reduce plastic consumption though.

But, purism aside – what are we to do with all the existing plastic.

Also, since plastic is a petroleum (crude oil) based product – and since petroleum is subsidized (corporate welfare) by taxpayers – as soon as we remove the subsidies the price of plastic will rise prohibitively.

So lets work to end the oil subsidies to eleminate plastics from the production line.

But that leads us to another question – what in gods name do we replace it with?

This is one of those grown-up cartoons, like those gothic picture books about wolves in the walls or selling daddy for baseball cards. Thank God my kids’ milk was heated in the safety of my boob!
