Savior BagsI have something of a reusable bag collection. I just love cool, stylish shopping bags. The cashiers at Whole Foods like to ooh and ahh over them too so of course I like to give them something new to talk about. ;)

Enter my new fave bag from Savior Bags. They make saving the planet fun! The one I have is this one. It has Ghandi printed on it and it says “Be the CHANGE you want to see in the world.” I love that quote.

These bags are made of very sturdy canvas that is water repellent and mildew resistant. They are milled, printed, and sewn in the USA too. I also like the roomy bucket style design and the grommets where the handles are. This bag will last for YEARS. And of course the other designs are wonderful too. I want the “This Little Piggy went to Market” bag. ;)

They are definitely more upscale for people who don’t want to carry around a bag that says “I heart the planet.’ The price is $20 per bag but just from feeling it and using it a few times I can tell that this bag will outlast many of my other bags…it is indestruco-bag!

Make sure to check out Savior Bags if your in “the market” for new reusable bags.

Pretty cool! I definitely could use a reusable tote. One of my straps broke on mine.

Love the bucket style. Makes it so much easier to pack your groceries when the bag stands up by itself.

You have a great blog! I’m always trying to find great sites and tips about going greener…and I have to get myself one of these reusable bags!

Indestructo-bag! Just what I need. I am a zealot when it comes to using reusable bags. I have gone through several of those cheap $4 bags and really need to invest in something permanent. Thanks for the tip. Cute and tough — just like I like my men (Gandhi, I mean).

What a great looking bag and great quote too! The straps on the bag look a lot stronger than some I’ve seen and bought.

Bet I can’t get hold of one in the UK though :(

I love eco friendly bags! The Ghandi bag above is great! I found a bunch at http://ecofriend.us and http://evo.com. Great places to find bags, totes and clutches all made of recycled materials and helping to support local artists.
