Then you need to watch the following video and stop by a donation center for Soles United. This looks like an amazing program that not only helps the less fortunate but it repurposes a popular product that is being sold my the millions in this country.
Thanks Jen for the heads up.

This sounds great! I keep meaning to check the Crocs site to see if they’ll take them back for recycling. This program takes recycling one step better.

Posted on this earlier this year and I think it’s a wonderful program. Perfect for the end of the summer to begin in your hometown. When everyone done where they’re crocs, then what? When kids go back to school have them donate their crocs. Maybe see which school or classroom can collect the most? Make it a contest?

Well, I guess the video had the desired effect: for a minute, I felt bad that nobody in my family purchased the things. That’s some impressive marketing.
We do donate all of our old but still decent shoes to local Salvation Army thrift stores, and the rest we wear into oblivion.

Thanks for sharing this! Crocs are popular in our house and community. I’ll be spreading the word and sending in our oldies.
