Hi,

You said the stainless steel cups are not dishwasher safe, but it says they are. Unless the "set" is different than the tumblers. Thought you might want to take note of that. Thanks for the site!

Do you know if all the Ikea Kalas products (plates, cups & bowls) are microwave and dishwasher safe? Their website says they are, but I don't want to buy them unless I can safely use them there.

Leesa, microwaving plastic is the best way to ensure that whatever is in it, will leach... maybe not BPA but perhaps other chemicals. I refuse to even own a microwave. Can you get stainless steel containers and pack stuff that doesn't need to be warmed?

I have to bring my daughter's lunch to day care and they don't allow glass containers. So, I am wondering about microwaving plastic containers. I bought some bpa free containers, but am worried that it is still harmful. Any thoughts?

Love this site, wanted to add that Oneida makes beautiful and affordable baby/toddler flatware sets. My children like them because they look so similar to the ones the grownups and big kids use.
Of all the sippy cups we have tried, we have found that the safe sippy works best, is easiest to clean and slowest to dent.
