First of all, I would like to wish you success in reaching your vision of vitality. I was sorry to hear about your cancer and treatment... I wish you health.

I love the idea of maintaining a vitality board. I wanted to tie this to another recent post which mentioned the Freeconomy Community. The idea of a Freeconomy Community is wonderful. Recently, I brought the idea to the attention of someone dear to me. The response was very pessimistic: "it's been talked about and tried in the past without success... it's a waste of time... it's dangerous... at a little over 2000 members it won't go anywhere, compared to the population of the world" I, on the other hand, believe the Freeconomy Community (page, philosophy and membership) is like a vitality board - it's what many of us want and what we will remind ourselves about and make changes here and there to bring about a change in the larger community... as far as I'm concerned many of the components of this philosophy are immediately achievable at a micro level and can eventually be carried out at a macro level too.

Now, for my personal vitality board... I'm going to have to think about this for a while... I will post again once I've decided.

<em>Pinar's last blog post..</em><a href='http://singleparenthomeschooler.blogspot.com/2007/12/looking-back-while-looking-ahead.html' rel="nofollow">Looking Back While Looking Ahead</a>

What's up with all the spammy backlinks? Don't you just hate that? lol

I pick freedom myself. It fits perfectly with the goals I've made for the new year.

Oh, Tiffany, I love the graphic that you chose - very beautiful. And your theme of Vitality is perfect for you. Thanks so much for the mention on your blog, and for elaborating and expanding on the Vision Board subject - I think it is so important on this journey we are on, to have a vision/theme, and work with our feelings and attitudes and "spirit", along with the material side of life, which goal-setting sometimes is limited to.
Happy 2008!
