Winter Wonderland

We have snow!!! I couldn’t post about it yesterday because the snow must have affected my Internet (it was down) but my kids had the best time playing outside yesterday. Seeing the ground all covered with a blanket of snow is so beautiful. My oldest didn’t have to go to school since they declared a snow day but today when I walked him to the bus it was thoroughly enjoyable to trek through the powder….makes we wish for a ski trip or a day sledding…maybe this weekend.

This is the view from my front door. There is a pathway there but it is covered in this photo. Thanks goodness for a young man across the street that was shoveling driveways and walkways for hire.

This is my son’s John Deere motorized truck covered in snow. We need to bring it inside and let him play with it in the basement during winter.
