I totally agree that socks are sometimes necessary when doing yoga and/or pilates. I love wearing socks to my pilates sessions...I wear a different sock called TOESOX. They are a five toe sock with sticky bumps on the bottom - from the tip of the toe to the back of the heel. They provide excellent grip, super comfortable and provide COMPLETE protection against any germs out there on community mats, equipment etc. You mentioned that this Yoga-Stick-e sock is an eco friendly fiber, but I think the bamboo still needs to be processed in order to get it to the yarn stage. The ToeSox are 90% ORGANIC cotton and 10% spandex. I prefer natural fibers that breathe - especially when my feet get hot and sweaty. Check them out at www.toesox.com.

How neat! I've just started attending Yoga classes at the gym and wondered why I was walking barefoot on a floor and using equipment used by everyone. What a great solution! Thank you for participating in Fitness For Moms Carnival.

These look awesome! I always slide around on my yoga mat no matter what tricks I try. I've even soaked my mat in vinegar at the prompting of one yoga teacher to remove the slick coating. It didn't work--it only made my bathtub smell of vinegar. These are great!

How do you find these ingenious things. I love those Yoga-Stick-e-socks! I'm not doing Yoga...yet. But a few of my girlfriends are active into Yoga. I may have found some gifts! Thanks!
