Kid Speak

Posted by Tiffany at 9:35 am in Tidbits.

I just had to share something that my three year old daughter said…quite loudly at the grocery store the other day. :) We were checking out and she was eyeing all the candy that is strategically placed where they will be tempted to grab and she decided she really wanted some chocolate.

She looked at me and our eyes met and I shook my head no. She looked back at the chocolate and then in her loudest and whiniest voice said… “Pleeeeeeeeease mom….if I promise NOT to get cancer can I pleeeeeeeease have some candy?” Oh boy.  Everyone turned to look at me after that one.

And another cute thing came out of my oldest son’s mouth this morning. He and his sister were playing and she bumped into him. Rubbing a sore elbow he said “I hope you have insurance buddy.” LOL.

That is too cute! Leave it to kids to say the darndest things. I can’t wait for Matthew to come up with his own Matthew-isms.
