The Truth About Milk

I just ran across this eye opening video on YouTube. It shows how Fox News killed a well researched story about the dangers of Monsanto’s rBST in our milk and the connection of it to cancer. Fox News was threatened by Monsanto with “dire consequences” and it in turn killed the story and fired the reporters who investigated it. This is really shocking but I guess it shouldn’t be. If you are familiar with my feeling on Monsanto then you know I think they are evil with a capital E! Anyone else feel weird about drinking milk infused with chemicals from the same company that makes Roundup…the weed killer? Just another reason to buy organic milk.

I’m so angry. I’m so upset. I’m in tears. Why? Because, it’s always about money. Money is more important than the health and well being of American Citizens!

When it comes to what we put in our bodies, what we breath, what we inject into our babies…we deserve the truth even if it ends up costing large corp.’s lots of money.

I’m angry at the news stations, government, big business…it hurts my heart that so many people KNOW the truth, but refuse to put it out there. So many people, who don’t question things, will never know…at least not for a long time.

Thank you for posting this. I’ve been telling my husband why we need organic milk, but he is just stubborn with the milk. We buy organic eggs and other products, but not milk. That stops, now! I’m sitting him down to see this.

We’re supposed to be this big awesome country, but yet Canada has a better health care system AND they cared about their people enough to not allow this hormone in their milk.

Thanks for the post. I too believe Monsanto is evil with a capital “E”. I’d be interested in seeing the full contents of the letters exchanged, though. So often there is more to the story than meets the eye.

I am apalled but not suprised by this story. so many times it is about the bottom line, which is profit.

Organic milk is a good idea but is very expensive. There are some milk producers that are sold without added BgH, like Oak Farms, Borden and Schepp’s. They are less expensive than organic and can be found in your regular supermarket.

I’ve got to where i only drink organic soy milk.
    Thanks for the post

I’m tickled that I found a nearby dairy farm who supplies me with delicious raw milk (from happy cows given no hormones!) at $3 per gallon. That’s quite a bargain for raw milk.

  6. Kim says:

Wow, $3.00 a gallon is a bargain for any kind of milk! Lucky you, I don’t think we have anything like that around here.

  7. Abel says:

Thanks for sharing this great but sad story. I beleive it’s just the tip of an iceberg.

  8. [...] you remember my post about rBGH in our milk? If not you should check it out and watch the video there. rBGH is banned throughout most of the [...]
